Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Fredericksburg, Texas 78624 – Texas Hill Country Healthcare Setting : Hospital Operating Room (OR), 2nd Floor Assignment Length : 13 weeks (10 / 16 / 2025 – 1 / 15 / 2026) Shift : 06 : 30 AM – 03 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday Shift Duration : 8-hour day shifts Hours per Week : 40 On-Call : 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month Number of Operating Rooms : 5 Patient Ratio : 1 : 1 EMR System : Meditech Expanse Scrubs : Hospital-laundered scrubs provided Estimated Weekly Salary : $1860 - $2000 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Texas or compact state BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience Ability to circulate all surgical service lines except open heart and neurosurgery Excellent communication and teamwork skills Self-motivated and able to work independently; charge RN manages OR suite operations Preferred : Scrub RN experience and pre / post-op Phase II experience OR RN Responsibilities Circulate in diverse surgical specialties : general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, ENT, urology / cystoscopy, plastics, ophthalmology, and C-sections Collaborate with fellow Registered Nurses and surgical staff to deliver safe, efficient patient care Operate advanced surgical equipment including ENT microscopes, Boston Scientific Mose Laser, Stryker towers, and Intuitive Robot X series Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Meditech Expanse EMR Participate in scheduled on-call rotation Float to pre / post-op Phase II or PACU as needed (not required) Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse in Fredericksburg, Texas, and take the next step in your nursing career!
