Level II Materials Technician

We are seeking a Level II Materials Technician to join our Lebanon, IN team! Come join us!

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Performs construction-related field tests as directed by the Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Manager and Senior Engineer.
• Relays information to project manager and / or engineer, with limited in-field decision making.
• Transports equipment, test specimens and / or documents to field personnel, laboratory, clients or other offices, and provides physical assistance in equipment set-up.
• Enters daily field observation reports and summary reports electronically.
• Performs field quality control tests of concrete and masonry construction.
• Performs field density testing on soil, concrete, asphalt and other construction materials.
• Assists other technicians or professional staff on tasks, and supports other departments as necessary.
• Mentorship and training support of other technicians and interns.
• Follows Atlas' safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs
• Ability to follow Atlas' QC plan and SOP's
• List duties are tasks critical to success
