Develop, implement, and improve residential and commercial HVAC products to achieve high performance and reliability.
Lead new product development (NPD) projects and ongoing sustaining engineering initiatives.
Manage projects and special engineering requests throughout the entire product development cycle.
Design, optimize, and qualify HVAC systems using advanced analytical and experimental methods.
Lead product qualification and ensure compliance with relevant agencies and standards.
Conduct analytical studies using modern simulation tools.
Ensure quality of designs by supporting proposals with thorough calculations and documentation.
Provide technical expertise and support to manufacturing, sales & marketing, quality, and supply chain teams.
Collaborate and communicate with vendors, customers, and field personnel.
Deliver technical and business presentations to various stakeholders.
Document product designs, including bills of material, drawings, and change notifications.
Interface with regulatory and testing agencies to ensure compliance.
Utilize computer simulation tools, programming languages, and office / database software as required.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, 10+ years of relevant experience, and EPA Section 608 Refrigerant Certification (Universal) as a plus.
