Position Summary

As a Delivery Driver, your primary responsibility will be transporting products safely and efficiently to our customers' locations. Besides managing truck responsibility and leading a helper, you will also play a vital role in verifying all paperwork to ensure the accurate delivery of materials. Your exceptional driving skills, safety, leadership abilities, and attention to detail will guarantee our products' error-free and timely delivery.

Performance Objectives

• Drive to various customer locations (Residential remodeling and commercial jobs)
• Load cabinets onto the truck and deliver them to the job site
• Unload inbound truck and palletize,
• Deliver the cabinets to job sites according to the schedule
• Assisted in keeping the warehouse organized and any work that needed to be done at the warehouse.
• Must have a cell phone to communicate when there is an issue
• Read, understand, and follow directions
• Take pictures of cabinets delivered to the site and email them to the office / management.
• Perform all duties necessary to ensure the truck is up to date, including checking tires and oil and keeping the truck clean as needed.
• Report any mechanical issues or damages to the appropriate department for prompt repairs.
• Work with a delivery helper, providing guidance and direction during delivery operations.
• Delegate tasks to the helper and ensure all responsibilities are carried out effectively.
• Thoroughly check all paperwork related to the deliveries, including packing lists and delivery orders.
• Verify the accuracy of materials to be delivered with the provided paperwork.
• Cross-reference delivery addresses and customer information to ensure precise deliveries.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Good math, language, and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required
• A high degree of attention is required to prevent injury to others and promote a safe work environment.
• Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping a record
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner
• Maintain a clean & safe environment
• May be required to use an RF scanner gun
• A clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operators license may be required.
• Forklift certification per OSHA standards

Physical Requirements / Qualifications :

• MUST be 23 or older with 3+ years of driving experience and a clean driving record to be eligible
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. of the product without assistance
• Read, understand, and follow directions
• Possess a strong work ethic
• Learn duties and responsibilities quickly
• CDL License is Required
