The Opportunity

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for connecting public affairs, market intelligence, and business strategy? TC Energy is seeking an Advisor who thrives at the intersection of geopolitical insight and commercial opportunity. In this role, you'll help shape the company's long-term growth by identifying emerging trends and translating them into actionable strategies that enhance business value and competitiveness.

As part of the External Relations team, you'll collaborate across functions to align policy, market and geopolitical developments with enterprise prioritiesdriving innovation, enabling investment and advocacy efforts.

What You'll Do

• Analyze geopolitical, technological and market trends (e.g., trade, energy, policy, regulatory, AI) to uncover opportunities and impacts to inform project development and long-term External Relations strategy.
• Collaborate across functions to integrate external dynamics as we advance a pipeline of business opportunities that align enterprise strategy with on-the-ground execution.
• Translate policy trends into business insights delivering high-quality briefs, scenario analyses and recommendations to leadership and development teams.
• Develop and support initiatives that strengthen relationships between TC Energy, government entities and economic development agencies.
• Contribute to advocacy strategies, including policy proposals, regulatory filings and stakeholder engagement plans that create favorable conditions for growth and investment.
• Strengthen relationships with government agencies, elected officials and industry coalitions.
