EHM Senior Solutions is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and administer day-to-day human resources operations while supporting our mission, values, and organizational goals. This position plays a critical role in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring HR strategies align with the needs of a mission-driven senior living organization.
The Human Resources Manager oversees core HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, compensation and benefits administration, and employee development. This role serves as a trusted partner to leadership and team members, ensuring consistent application of policies and best practices in accordance with employment laws and organizational standards.
Lead and manage all day-to-day HR operations, ensuring programs and initiatives align with organizational objectives and best practices.
Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, retention, and workforce planning to maintain a skilled and engaged workforce.
Administer and monitor compensation, benefits, and performance management programs in compliance with applicable laws and organizational policies.
Provide guidance and support to leadership and employees on HR policies, employee relations matters, conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain accurate HR records, reporting, and HRIS administration.
Develop and coordinate training, professional development, and organizational improvement initiatives that promote employee growth and engagement.
Track, analyze, and report HR metrics to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
Foster a respectful, inclusive, and positive workplace culture.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
Master’s degree or professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
Five (5) to seven (7) years of progressive human resources experience, including supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
Working knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
Experience administering employee benefits, including pension programs.
Experience using HRIS platforms and other HR-related technologies.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution abilities.
Effective problem-solving and sound decision-making skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
