Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Sales Support & Customer Service Coordinator to join our team. This role serves as a critical link between our sales team, shipping / logistics, and customers. The ideal candidate will manage daily administrative and operational tasks, ensuring smooth communication, accurate order processing, and efficient issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities :
- Route incoming phone calls to appropriate departments or personnel.
- Prepare, update, and distribute reports to National Sales Managers and Account Representatives.
- Track freight deliveries from multiple carriers and report delivery status.
- Log customer issues and provide appropriate documentation to support resolution.
- Enter and process customer orders received via phone.
- Edit and process free replacement part orders accurately.
- Fulfill MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) requests from customers.
- Pull, review, and adjust EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) orders daily.
- Verify billing accuracy by cross-checking shipped versus ordered quantities.
- Manage Home Depot routing through Transplace and coordinate with the shipping department.
- Process and manage customer-specific EDI transactions (e.g., ASN and 810 invoices).
- Settle credit card transactions and ensure payment processing accuracy.
- Assist with planning and preparation for sales meetings, presentations, and trade shows.
- Attend trade shows when required.
- Reach out to customer accounts to resolve issues or promote product sales.
- Prepare and mail invoices to customers.
- Communicate with FGI customers via phone and email for support and inquiries.
- Review sales and logistics documents and input relevant data into the ERP system (EPICOR).
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required; associates or bachelors degree preferred.2+ years in customer service, sales support, or administrative roles.Experience with EDI, order processing, and ERP systems (EPICOR preferred).Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills :
Experience in logistics or supply chain coordination.Familiarity with MSDS handling and documentation.Trade show or event planning experience.
