Job Title : Middle Division Substitute Teacher (Grades 6–8)

Job Summary

The Middle Division Substitute Teacher will provide classroom instruction, supervision, and support for students in grades 6–8 on an as-needed basis. This role includes implementing lesson plans, maintaining effective classroom management, and ensuring continuity of student learning in a positive and structured environment.

Responsibilities

Implement lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher.

Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe, respectful learning environment.

Provide effective instruction and keep students engaged in learning activities.

Supervise students during instructional and non-instructional times.

Maintain clear communication and foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements

Prior teaching or classroom experience preferred.

Strong classroom management and organizational skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
