AF Collision is seeking a highly skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. As a reputable, family-owned and operated collision repair facility, we are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to help us continue delivering top-notch service. We are specifically looking for an A-Tech with I-Car Gold certification (preferably as a Structural Technician). A candidate who is mechanically inclined, can interpret diagnostic scans, understands electrical systems, and is comfortable using an Ohm meter will be a strong fit.

Responsibilities :
- Repair damaged body parts and vehicle bodies following factory and dealership specifications.
- Stay current on the latest repair methods and techniques for vehicles sold and serviced by the dealership.
- Perform all body, frame, structural, and other necessary repairs according to the repair plan.
- Execute tasks outlined in repair orders efficiently and accurately.
- Perform welding and other collision repair work.
- Diagnose malfunction causes and perform necessary repairs.
- Communicate with the parts department to obtain required parts.
- Examine vehicles to assess the need for additional safety or service work.
- Advise the Estimator if additional work is necessary.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technical bulletins, service manuals, and other publications.
- Attend factory-sponsored training classes and stay informed on factory technical bulletins.
- Operate all body shop equipment safely and productively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work stall.
- Use company materials and supplies responsibly.
- Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean throughout the repair process.
- Document all work performed promptly after job completion.
- Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal guidelines.
- Secure permission from management and complete an RO before working on any personal vehicle.

Requirements
3+ years of high-level collision repair technician experience (preferred but not required).I-Car Gold Class & ASE Certifications (preferred).Must be an A-Tech with I-Car Gold certification, preferably as a Structural Technician.Mechanically inclined with the ability to interpret diagnostic scans.Understanding of electrical systems, with experience using an Ohm meter (a plus).Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.Benefits
