Description :

This position involves floating within a telemetry nursing unit.

The unit has a patient capacity of 32 beds with nursing ratios of 1 : 4-6.

RNs are required to validate and read telemetry strips as monitor techs are off-site.

The unit handles common post-surgical diagnoses including general, orthopedic, urological, and gynecological cases.

Nursing staff must be prepared to work every other weekend based on unit needs.

Availability to work during holidays is also a requirement.

There is no call or standby requirement.

All RNs are susceptible to floating within their scope of practice.

Scrub color is navy for both tops and bottoms.
