Position Overview :
The Chief of Pediatric Pulmonology will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic vision for the division while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. This position will oversee daily clinical, operational, and administrative activities, including provider staffing, program development, and quality initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership, program expansion, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Key Responsibilities :
- Provide leadership and direction for the pediatric pulmonology department
- Oversee clinical operations, physician staffing, and team management
- Develop and implement policies and protocols to enhance patient care
- Lead program growth initiatives , including expanding clinical services and outreach programs
- Mentor and educate medical students, residents, and clinical staff
- Participate in quality improvement and research initiatives
- Collaborate with hospital administration and other departments to drive innovation and efficiency
- Recruit and retain top-tier clinical talent to enhance the department s capabilities
