Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a birthing center, requiring recent Epic experience and VT or compact RN licensure.

Responsibilities

Work in a birthing center setting within the Labor & Delivery unit

Care for patients through labor, delivery, post-partum care, and newborn care

Night shifts with 12-hour rotations

Every other weekend work required

Floating required to Med Surg and Emergency Department units

Epic EMR proficiency required within the past 2 years

Responsibilities include managing labor and delivery, providing post-partum care, and caring for newborns

No block scheduling is permitted

Assignment will require flexibility to float to other units as needed

Travelers are strongly encouraged to use vehicles with all-season or snow tires from November to April

Complete and up-to-date work history required for consideration

Requirements

Active VT or compact RN license required at time of consideration

AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required

Minimum of 1 year of recent LDRP experience

Experience across labor, delivery, post-partum, and newborn care required

Epic EMR experience within the last 2 years is nonnegotiable

Reliable personal or rental vehicle necessary due to lack of public transportation
