Principal Manufacturing is seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team in Broadview, IL. As a leader in fineblanking, conventional stamping and plastic injection molding, Principal Manufacturing sets itself above the competition.

Production Supervisor manages and coordinates activities of associate, to ensure production schedules and quality of production are met for shipping demands.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals. Make necessary adjustments to ensure production schedule is being met.
• Oversee the training and development of team members in regard to safety, machine operation and company procedures.
• Inspect materials, products, or equipment for defects or malfunctions, maintain a safe working environment and work with the sorting department.
• Work with other departments to improve operating procedures while maintaining their individual production requirements.
• Maintain and efficiently perform production assignment/ expectations from Plant Manager within allotted time period per the production schedule.

Required Skill/Knowledge:

• Responsible for following Lean Manufacturing Concepts.
• Work with Human Resources in the areas of hiring, discipline, employee relation concerns, development, termination of team members and conducting evaluations.
• Provide real-time information and reports to management.
• Ability to encourage positive work environment
• Must have an Associate's Degree along with 5 years' experience as production supervisor.
• Must be Bilingual.
