Start Date : November 17, 2025

End Date : February 16, 2026

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday

Hours per Week : 40

Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week

On-Call : Rotating on-call responsibilities, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (average 7-9 days of call per month; 20-minute response time required)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2100-$2250

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active, unencumbered RN license in Utah or a compact state (required for travel nursing jobs)

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Current ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) or ability to obtain within three months of hire

Strong knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques in the operating room

Solid understanding of patient safety protocols and clinical precautions

Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and listening)

Ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations and adapt to changing circumstances

Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience required

Preferred : Experience with surgical procedures, pre-op and / or PACU, and independent care of surgical patients during emergency call cases

OR RN Responsibilities

Deliver perioperative nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures

Circulate and assist in the operating room for a variety of surgical cases, including General Surgery, Orthopedics, and Obstetrics (C-sections)

Respond rapidly and accurately to trauma and emergency cases in the ER

Maintain strict adherence to aseptic and sterile techniques at all times

Collaborate with the surgical and healthcare team to ensure patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes

Participate in rotating on-call coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Demonstrate emotional and physical stamina in a rural hospital setting
