The Opportunity

We are seeking a meticulous and collaborative Medical Affairs Associate to support the Medical and Scientific Organization (MSO) team. This role involves supporting MSO systems related projects, manage contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and cross-functional approvals, ensuring all documentation is handled efficiently and in compliance with Abbott Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC) policies and guidelines. The ideal candidate will work closely with Medical Directors, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Health Care Professionals (HCPs), the OEC, and the procurement team to ensure timely and accurate management of all contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation.

What You'll Work On

Assist in the preparation, review, and processing of contracts and agreements in a timely manner. Work closely with Medical Directors, KOLs, and HCPs, ensuring all agreements comply with Abbott OEC policies. Process and manage purchase orders and invoices, ensuring timely approval and payment. Coordinate with various departments to obtain necessary approvals for contracts and purchase orders. Maintain accurate records of all contracts and related documentation, ensuring compliance with corporate and divisional policies. Supports systems-related projects as needed (Veeva, Monday etc.) Leverage exceptional organizational skills to proactively manage multiple priorities and timelines. Set reminders and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule. Provide support for other medical and scientific projects as needed.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in supporting systems, contract management and the procurement process (purchase orders, invoices), preferably in a medical or clinical setting. Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other computer-based applications. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadline-driven projects. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment. Highly detail-oriented with a focus on data integrity and accuracy. Knowledge of compliance processes and procedures, particularly in a medical or clinical context.

The base pay for this position is $24.80 $49.60 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
