SWISS CNC Operator / Machinist
Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced SWISS CNC Operator / Machinist to join our Bay Area team located in the peninsula. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating precision Swiss lathes and CNC tools, with a focus on producing high-quality, precision components. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Set up and operate Swiss CNC lathes and other CNC machinery to produce precision parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents to determine machining operations.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor the machining process to ensure parts are produced to the highest quality standards.
- Make adjustments to machine settings and tooling as necessary to maintain tolerances and specifications.
- Conduct inspections of finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including setup sheets, inspection reports, and machine logs.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining or related field preferred.Direct Hands on experience operating Swiss CNC lathes and CNC tools.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.A plus would be any knowledge of CNC programming and G-code.Experience with precision measuring instruments and quality control procedures.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.Reach out via email at russ.holland@cybercoders.com and by applying to this post and let's connect / discuss.
