SWISS CNC Operator / Machinist

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SWISS CNC Operator / Machinist to join our Bay Area team located in the peninsula. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating precision Swiss lathes and CNC tools, with a focus on producing high-quality, precision components. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Set up and operate Swiss CNC lathes and other CNC machinery to produce precision parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents to determine machining operations.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor the machining process to ensure parts are produced to the highest quality standards.
• Make adjustments to machine settings and tooling as necessary to maintain tolerances and specifications.
• Conduct inspections of finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including setup sheets, inspection reports, and machine logs.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
