Senior Construction Project Manager Position Summary :

An established and growing construction management firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager to take ownership of complex commercial projects from pre-construction through closeout. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading teams, building client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Senior Construction Project Manager Responsibilities :

  • Lead the full project lifecycle — from estimating and bidding through completion and closeout.
  • Prepare accurate project budgets, schedules, and cost forecasts.
  • Manage RFI, submittal, change order, and invoicing processes with precision and accountability.
  • Oversee project documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, subcontracts, and bonding requirements.
  • Conduct regular project meetings with owners, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Maintain quality assurance / quality control (QA / QC) and ensure safety compliance per OSHA 1926 standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong client, vendor, and subcontractor relationships to support repeat and referral business.
  • Mentor and guide Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers, promoting collaboration and professional growth.
  • Identify new project opportunities and contribute to business development initiatives.

Senior Construction Project Manager Qualifications :

  • Proven success in managing large-scale construction projects independently.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, blueprints, specifications, and the CSI division / cost code system.
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining budgets, schedules, and project documentation.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, foster collaboration, and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Knowledge of insurance, lien waivers, bonding, and tax laws related to construction.
  • Certifications : OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required.
  • Ability to work onsite in the Boston Massachusetts area.
