Travel Nursing Job Details

  • Estimated Weekly Pay : $2100–$2250 per week
  • Assignment Length : 13 weeks
  • Start Date : 10 / 19 / 2025
  • End Date : 1 / 18 / 2026
  • Healthcare Setting : Operating Room, Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Nursing Shift : 8-hour day shifts (06 : 30-15 : 00), Monday through Friday
  • Hours per Week : 40
  • On-call Requirement : Up to 6 call shifts per 13-week contract
  • Weekend Rotation : None
  • Floating : Will float to all ORs as needed

    • Registered Nurse Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience, including Level 1 trauma experience
  • Strong scrub nurse experience required
  • Experience with at least one of the following : DaVinci robot cases, large head and neck cases, neuro spine, or ex lap cases
  • Background in Ortho, General, Trauma, GYN, Urology, or Plastics preferred
  • Active Kansas or Compact RN License (Registered Nurse License)
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • Nicotine-free facility

    • OR RN Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced, Level 1 trauma operating room
  • Scrub and circulate for a wide range of complex surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Float to various operating rooms as needed to support patient care
  • Participate in on-call rotation as required
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards
