Mountain Valley Regional Rehabilitation Hospital Our hospital has been ranked in the Top 10% nationally for rehabilitative care for 15 years and has earned The Joint Commission's Stroke Certification and Brain Injury Certification. At our 44-bed hospital, we provide specialized inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative services, as well as Home Health services to our patients, serving the communities of Northern Arizona. We see patients who often are recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions.

We are seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant t o join our team of passionate patient caregivers!

Qualifications

Required Skills :

• Current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant required.
• Basic Life Support / CPR Certification from an approved vendor required.
• One year of direct patient care experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Additional Qualifications / Skills :

Responsibilities

Under the direction of a physical therapist, may be involved in implementing treatment plans with patients. Performs components of physical therapy procedures and related tasks selected by a supervising physical therapist. Records the patient's responses to treatment and reports to the physical therapist the outcome of each treatment. Integrates the hospital's mission and "Guiding Principles" into daily practice.
