Minimum Requirements :
Degree in a related technical field (environmental / civil engineering) or equivalent experienceExisting experience of working in Flood Risk Management in the private or public sector (such as the Environment Agency, Lead Local Flood Authorities or Internal Drainage Boards)Experience of using hydraulic modelling outputs to create flood depth-damage calculationsExperience of costing flood risk management options and undertaking benefit-cost economic analysisAbility to undertake HM Green Book compliant options appraisal and evaluation for flood risk management schemes, including use of the Multi Coloured ManualExperience of using the FCERM Partnership Funding Calculator to assess GIA funding capabilityExperience of writing flood risk management scheme business cases using the HM Treasury Five Case ModelAbility to work with key stakeholders, such as Risk Management Authorities, developers, contractors and landownersExperience of developing partnership funding opportunitiesAbility to produce technical and non-technical summary reportsA full UK driving licenceChartered or working towards chartered statusExperience of managing and analysing large datasets and GIS / design software (e.g. MapInfo, Arc, QGIS, AutoCAD)As a salaried colleague, you'll get a salary in line with your experience, skills and location along with an industry-leading benefits package :
