American Traveler is seeking a Cat Scan (CT) Technologist experienced with GE scanners, EPIC EMR, and holding ARRT, NJDEP, and BLS certifications.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a hospital CV imaging department primarily using GE APEX, Revolution, and VCT scannersRole may require floating to a nearby sister hospitalProcedures include routine CT as well as CCTA, calcium scoring, and interventional radiology if experiencedUtilizes Medrad Power Injectors and Sectra PACS systemFull-time schedule Sunday through Thursday from 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PMPatient population includes adult and emergency casesEMR utilized is EPICDuties include patient preparation, screening for allergies, venipuncture, operation of CT and power injectors, ongoing equipment QA / QC, and maintaining sterile protocolsTeam members participate in daily workflow coordination, emergency case triage, supply management, QA / QC, and immediate communication of critical findings to radiologyStaff members are expected to maintain HIPAA compliance and contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient imaging environmentAssignment may require covering emergent and trauma cases as neededAll staff may be assigned as point person to triage and facilitate procedures during shiftCandidates may not return for a new assignment within less than 30–60 days after completing one year of service\n \n Requirements\n
Current ARRT RT(R) and ARRT RT(CT) certifications requiredCurrent NJDEP X-Ray License required; license required if applicableBLS (AHA) certification requiredCompletion of an accredited radiography program and high school diploma or GED requiredExperience with GE CT scanners strongly preferredExperience with EPIC charting system requiredPreferred experience in CCTA, calcium scoring, and interventional radiology proceduresCandidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility—no locals accepted\n Benefits\n
