As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling, fluoride and sealants, and root planning. You will also be required to thoroughly assess the patient's teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues, documenting any abnormalities or suspected conditions. Additionally, you will customize care to meet the patient's oral health needs and educate them on good oral hygiene techniques. To be considered for this role, you must graduate from an accredited dental hygiene school and hold a current Registered Dental Hygienist licensure in the state of practice. You must also possess CPR certification and at least 1-2 years of experience working in a dental practice. Strong interpersonal skills, a proven dedication to providing comprehensive dental care, and a working knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and practices are also essential.
