Job Summary
Primary Purpose
A Service Advisor is responsible for scheduling service work in the service/repair shop and for selling additional service to customers. A successful Service Advisor will maintain a positive attitude and work toward meeting and exceeding monthly sales goals.
General Description
A Service Advisor's role entails greeting customers promptly and answering telephones in a courteous and respectful manner. They are to give customers their undivided attention while taking thorough notes and must clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer. They are also responsible for recommending needed maintenance, preparing an accurate estimate, monitoring the progress of each vehicle and keeping customers informed of their vehicle progress.
