Responsibilities :
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum for preschool students
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Teach and facilitate developmentally appropriate practices for early learning
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff members
- Use effective behavior management techniques to promote a positive classroom environment
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and caregivers
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to enhance the overall educational experience

Qualifications :
- Bachelor's, Associates, CDA, Minimum High School Diploma and completion of required 45 hour Child Care DCF Training preferred
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development
- Knowledge of behavior management strategies for young children
Skills :
- Experience working with preschool-aged students
- Ability to educate and engage young learners
- Knowledge of early literacy education principles and practices
- Familiarity with preschool curriculum development
- Understanding of early childhood education best practices
- Experience working in a child care center or similar setting
- Strong behavior management skills for young children
- Knowledge of special education practices
