We're hiring Relief / Per Diem Float Counselors to support two vital residential programs in Pittsfield : FOH Berkshire House and Respite
About the Programs
FOH Berkshire House is a 24 / 7 peer-led transitional housing program staffed by counselors and case managers, providing wraparound supports for individuals navigating recovery and housing stabilization.
Respite is a 24 / 7 short-term residential program offering temporary housing and support services for individuals transitioning between living arrangements. Clients have access to clinicians, nursing support, psychiatric consultations, and wellness groups.
Whether you're building your experience in human services or looking for a flexible role that makes a real impact, this is a great opportunity to support clients while working with two highly respected teams.
What You'll Do
Build therapeutic 1 : 1 relationships with clientsSupport daily living activities including cooking, hygiene, recreation, and self-careParticipate in treatment planning and case coordinationPerform hourly client checks and maintain accurate documentationPrepare meals during evening shifts and coordinate with shift teamSupport a safe, trauma-informed environmentHelp with basic program operations such as transportation and supply shoppingRespond to and triage crisis calls as neededWhat Makes This Float Role Unique?

Experience in Human Services or behavioral health preferredFlexibility to float between two Pittsfield program sitesAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamStrong documentation and communication skillsValid driver's license and reliable transportationAvailability for evening, overnight, and / or weekend shifts preferredWhy CSO?
