Summary of Job Responsibilities:

The staff physician in the clinical track is responsible for providing direct outpatient care to GI and Hepatology patients Uhealth Doral and/or So l é Miá in North Miami [9 half days] . Sole Mia is Opening fall 2025 . He/she will provide outpatient clinical and endoscopic services to those patients who require Gastroente r ology/ Hepatology services , and Gastroenterology screening procedures.

Outline of additional responsibilities include but are not Limited to:

• Maintain outpatient clinic and endoscopic procedures at Uhealth Doral / Solé Miá

• Rotate on night and weekend on call on medical campus at UHT and JMH proportionate to other physicians

• Rotate on inpatient at UHT or JMH p ropor tionate to other providers Qualifications:

• MD Degree and ACGME US internal medicine internship and residency and GI fellowship

• Valid American Board Certification in Internal Medicine (or board eligible)

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology / Hepatology ( or board eligible)

• Valid unrestricted Florida Medic al License or eligible to apply (must have license prior to credentialing)

• Valid DEA licensure

• Current BLS certification required . ACLS

• Must be able to provide prerequisite case logs for procedures for prior two years for credentialling

Kn owledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures and techniques.

• Must maintain CME to meet institutional a nd state licensing requirements

• Must have excellent clinical knowledge and experience to provide safe and quality care to patients and meet institutional standards of care

• Close encounters within 72 hours .
