The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with New York City / Health + Hospitals / Elmhurst, serving the culturally diverse community of Western Queens, is seeking a full time board certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for the position of Director of the Child and Adolescent Division at Elmhurst. The Division includes a Child and Adolescent Inpatient Unit, Partial Hospitalization Program, Pediatric Consultation Program, Outpatient Clinic, School Based Mental Health Program, Home Based Crisis Intervention Program and an ACGME accredited Fellowship Training Program in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Requirements include Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree, completion of ACGME accredited residency training program in psychiatry and fellowship training program in Child and Adolescent psychiatry, ABPN certification in psychiatry and Child and Adolescent psychiatry, minimum of 3 to 5 years post-fellowship experience, previous clinical and administrative leadership experience and demonstrated record of scholarly activities and interest in education and training.
