Summary

The Sales Operations Structuring Manager provides a vital role in the Sales Operations team. They will manage Facility Deal Structuring, Contract SOW Redline Reviews, and inbound tasks to Sales Operations for clarity and appropriate assignment. This individual will also function as project manager on critical opportunities and support the review and update of contract service statements of work and proposal scopes.

This role works with Sales, Delivery, Business Solutions Directors, Pricing, Legal, RFP team, Product Management and others in the organization.

Primary Functions and Essential Responsibilities

  • The Sales Operations Structuring Manager will work with all client segments and multiple business units across the organization. They are expected to provide project management on large or critical sales opportunities, ensure any opportunity tasks submitted are complete and will assign out as appropriate, manage the SOW redline review process internally and occasionally with clients, and ensure any custom scoping provided for inclusion in proposals or contracts meets approval with appropriate delivery teams.
  • Deal Project Management (20%)
  • Provide project management for large ($400K+) / critical opportunities through the pricing, proposal, redline reviews and delivery assurance process.
  • Develop and manage project teams which may include internal and external resources and business partners coordinating and integrating project activities across operational and functional lines.
  • Define and manage deal risks, contingencies and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Identify business stakeholders and effectively communicate project status and activities in verbal and written form.
  • Manage weekly Facility Deal Structuring Call : own agenda, notes, and action items (20%).
  • Facilitate follow up meetings with internal teams to resolve action items and facilitate one-off Facility Deal Structuring Calls as needed.
  • Direct the SOW redline review process for assigned deals internally and externally, ensuring all pricing items are reviewed and approved by pricing; work with delivery to provide counters or acceptance of client redlines via the SOW approval process (25%).
  • Manage the Sales Operations inbox and assign readied deals to appropriate owners. Ensure all required components are included in the Opportunity and task for pricing / legal / proposal / redline review prior to tasking incoming requests to appropriate teams (25%).
  • Proactively manage the creation and validation of custom and standard scopes for services (10%).
  • Decision authority : may send tasks back to sales requesting additional information if criteria are not met for pricing / legal / proposal / redline review.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education / Certifications / Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in business, marketing or related field
  • 5+ years relevant experience with project management, sales support, contract review
  • May consider a combination of relevant experience with educational / other skills in lieu of educational requirements
  • Competencies / Skills / Abilities
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, ADP, and other internal process systems
  • Ability to multi-task across open items
  • Experience with process improvement best practices
  • Superior project management and strong financial acumen
  • Strong communication skills with C-level audiences
  • Collaborative negotiator capable in contract language negotiation

    The pay range for this role is : $62,050- $105,800. Pay range may vary based on factors including experience, location, and internal equity. This position is eligible for ENGIE benefits including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance, a 401k plan, paid time off and annual bonus. ENGIE complies with applicable wage laws.

    Work Environment

  • Work schedules determined by business need; full-time typically 40 hours per week
