Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
  • Utilize a variety of hand & power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble product.
  • Performing soldering of wires, SMT, TH parts.
  • Maintain inventory of products at workstations.
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
  • Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
  • Rework and / or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Must follow all company policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Any other duties assigned as needed.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE :

  • Must possess good interpersonal skills.
  • Specific technical or vocational training or certification is a plus.
  • Basic computer navigation and utilization skills.
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills.
  • Good communications skills, both written and oral.

    • Ability to apply concepts of basic math.

  • Ability to manage time between two or more projects at one time.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and procedures.

    • The ability to apply knowledge and skills to achieve intended results.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years electro-mechanical assembly experience may be required.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR).
  • Satisfactory background check.
  • The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
