Responsibilities Work in a hospital diagnostic imaging department performing computed tomography procedures 12-hour shifts with start times of 6 : 00 AM, 8 : 30 AM, or 10 : 00 AM Every 4th weekend and holiday rotation required On-call rotation included Possible need to alternate shifts and flex hours to provide quality patient care Performs CT procedures and may assist with radiographic, fluoroscopic, surgical, and portable exams as needed Prepares and administers contrast media and maintains IV access for procedures Corroborates patient's clinical history and documents for use by radiologists Provides practical instruction to students and partners Follows universal protocol, standard precautions, and applies patient safety principles Participates in equipment and supply decisions, and inventory control Holiday and weekend coverage are required as part of the shift rotation Flexibility to work overtime may be needed to support patient care needs Requirements Graduate of an accredited radiography program Minimum of 2 years CT experience required Active ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications required Current BLS certification required IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required State license required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-618844.
