About the Clinician's Workday

Case types include General and Ortho. Board certification or fellowship is required, and candidates who need to obtain a state license are accepted. Shift types preferred are 8- or 10-hour shifts, with 12-hour shifts available but not ideal. Regular hours are required, with no in-house, weeknight, or weekend call. Overtime is not expected but may be offered. Shift times are 8 hours (7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM), 10 hours (7 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM), or 12 hours (7 : 00 AM -7 : 30 PM), and providers are expected to work the full duration of their shift, excluding unpaid lunch breaks. The hospital uses Cerner for charting and has 31 anesthesia rooms. MDs supervise CRNAs at a 3 : 1 ratio and also perform their own cases. Providers receive a $275 weekly car rental or mileage stipend and a $115 daily lodging stipend.
