Description

Our hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to help provide outstanding patient care and client service in a fast-paced, multi-doctor animal hospital.

The Veterinary Assistant is responsible for assisting Veterinarians and teammates in the care of animals. The Assistant helps during examinations and procedures by restraining animals when necessary, cares for hospitalized and boarding animals, stocks examination and surgery rooms with supplies, cleans and maintains tools, and ensures that equipment is in working order. Veterinary Assistants also communicate with clients (pet owners), maintain the cleanliness and workflow of the hospital, and update patient records.

Weekend and holiday availability are required for this position.
