The 777X Development Program and Flight Controls & Mechanical Hydraulics Core organizations is looking for Senior Guidance Navigation and Control Engineering Manager (Level L) to support the team in Everett, Washington.

Position Overview :

This senior manager will lead Flight Controls / Mechanical & Hydraulics engineers, technical designers, and managers supporting development. This role requires technical knowledge of Flight Controls / Mechanical Hydraulics and / or Airplane Systems and strong leadership capabilities to manage critical work statement across multiple teams. Applicable and appropriate educational / certification credentials from an accredited institution and / or equivalent experience is required.

Position Responsibilities :

• Ensure quality and safety of Flight Controls / Mechanical Hydraulics hardware and systems
• Performance management and mentorship of an engineering and management team
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports
• Provide oversight of technical decision making
• Set commitments and execute to program plans and priorities
• Report status and elevate risks / issues to program leadership
• Direct coordination and technical management of suppliers
• Cross-functional coordination with other organizations such as Avionics, Crew Ops, Airplane Safety, Flight Sciences, System Stress, Production Engineering, and / or Supply Chain

Work Authorization :

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Everett, WA.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range : $181,900 - $246,100
