Schedule

7-on / 7-off; 12-hour shifts (6-6 or 7-7 depending on site)

Volume

18-22 patients / day (may be higher during busy season)

Admissions

Hospital : 0-2 from 6 AM-12 PM; daytime admitter 12-8 PM

Hospital : Admissions from 7 AM-12 PM or 4-7 PM

Coverage

Hospital

5 hospitalist teams, 2 NP teams, one admitter, ICU nocturnist at night

Hospital

2 hospitalists + 1 NP team, 1 nocturnist at night

ICU Duties

Hospital

ICU rounding possible, Intensivist support available

Hospital

ICU rounding required; transfer decompensating patients to Hospital

Codes

Hospital

Respond to codes / RRTs for own patients; ED / Intensivists lead

Base Salary

$300,000-$350,000
