Travel Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) – Child / Adolescent Unit – Bridgeport, CT

Location : Bridgeport, CT

Start Date : 11 / 3 / 2025

Duration : 12 Weeks

Schedule : Nights | 5x8s | 40 hours / week

Shift : Rotating – 7a-3 : 30p, 3p-11 : 30p, 11p-7 : 30a (shift times may be negotiable; discuss with manager)

Weekends : Every other weekend required

On Call : None

Requirements :

Active Connecticut RN License

BLS Certification (AHA)

Minimum 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience preferred (will consider strong new RNs with psych experience)

Overview :

The Psychiatric Registered Nurse provides compassionate and skilled care to children and adolescents in an inpatient behavioral health setting. The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment. Collaboration with interdisciplinary team members is essential to support each patient’s individualized treatment plan and recovery goals.
