Responsibilities Work in the Operating Room of a hospital environment Day shift schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm Responsibilities include late call coverage and on-call shifts during weekdays and weekends Candidates may be required to float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals Most units require Level 1 trauma experience Call hours are 8 : 00 pm to 6 : 00 am on weekdays, and split shifts on weekends (6 : 00 am-6 : 00 pm or 6 : 00 pm-6 : 00 am) Anticipated on-call requirement is 2-3 shifts per 6-week schedule period Main duties involve intraoperative patient care and collaboration with surgical teams May be required to assist with recovery of IR PACU patients transferred to main PACU if PACU closes Required to complete onboarding and annual modules, averaging 6.5 hours Return staff policy requires 90 days out before returning as a traveler Past employees' rehire eligibility will be verified prior to confirmation Holiday and weekend coverage required based on scheduled call shifts RTO (requested time off) must be confirmed at time of consideration Requirements Active KY or compact RN license required at the time of submission Minimum of 2 years recent Operating Room RN experience required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Must provide at least one reference from a charge nurse or supervisor No licensure disciplinary actions (license hits) accepted Local candidates within 75 miles are not eligible Level 1 trauma experience required for most units Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-625166.
