Check Processor

The Check Processor is responsible for processing Dollar Bank rejected checks. This position is 100% in person.

Education and Experience Requirements :

High school diploma or GED required.

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements :

Ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service to department and branch personnel.

Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Good math aptitude required.

Ability to work independently and prioritize daily tasks to meet deadlines.

Must have a willingness to learn mainframe application software.

Essential Functions :

Review, process, and verify in-clearing rejected items.

Process daily outgoing letters.

Process large dollar notifications according to proper regulations.

Process encoding error adjustments.

Review and process items on the Duplicate Checks paid reports.

Manual balancing of department daily work and general ledgers.

Provide customer service to branch and department personnel.

Responsible for other duties as assigned.
