Job Summary : The Housekeeping Manager assists in managing the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department to ensure exceptional cleanliness standards and guest satisfaction. Oversees housekeeping activities across guest rooms and public areas, including scheduling, staffing, inspections, and employee training and development. Additional responsibilities include managing deep cleaning projects, lost and found tracking, inventory control, owner housekeeping billing, guest service coordination, pre-arrival preparations, client representation, and overall housekeeping operations.

Assist in implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and processes in line with Kindred, RockResorts and Forbes standards for a luxury hotelSupport the recruitment and onboarding process for housekeeping leadership, supervisors, room attendants, and support staffDeliver comprehensive training programs covering : luxury guest service standards, room cleaning procedures and inspections, health, hygiene, and safety compliance, eco-conscious cleaning protocols, chemical usage standards, and sustainability best practices, use of cleaning equipment and technology, communication protocols and use of housekeeping management softwareConduct trial runs and mock guestroom servicing for skill validationSupervise deep cleaning of all rooms and suites prior to housewares installationOversee housewares installation and ensure all rooms are staged and styled to luxury brand standardsSupport processes to maintain par levels for linens, towels, uniforms, and guest amenitiesTrain staff on linen handling and damage preventionOperate and train staff on housekeeping software and communication protocols for room status updates and service requestsConduct ongoing performance audits and cleanliness inspectionsProvide daily reports and readiness updates to the Director of HousekeepingBe actively present during hotel opening to respond to guest feedback in real time and support the team with hands-on leadershipPost-Opening Responsibilities :
