• Employment Type : Travel\n\nJob Description\n\nAmerican Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Hospice unit position requiring state or compact licensure and recent hospice experience.\n\nResponsibilities\n
• Work in an acute care hospice unit within a Critical Access Hospital (CAH)\n
• Day shifts with an 8-hour shift length\n
• Required to work every 3-4 weekends and take part in a holiday rotation\n
• 13-week assignment\n
• Uses Epic charting system\n
• Provide patient-centered hospice care in an acute care setting\n
• 12 hours of orientation provided at start of assignment\n
• Participation in holiday coverage is expected\n
• Certain states (AZ, NV, NE, IA, MN) require permanent residence of at least 50 miles from the facility for eligibility\n
• Candidates who have worked directly for affiliated health systems in the past 12 months are not eligible\n\nRequirements\n
• Active state or Compact (NLC) RN license required at time of consideration\n
• Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience, with hospice experience preferred\n
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required\n
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration\n
• Two professional references : one from a supervisor within the last 12 months and one from a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and rehire status\n\nBenefits\n
