Position Purpose & Summary
Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, the Room Attendant Position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guest room hallways, rooms, balconies and porches to the property standards.

1. Minimum Knowledge & Skills :
Must have basic knowledge of room cleaning.
2. Formal Education and Job-Related Experience :
Some experience with the ABC's of housekeeping and room cleaning is beneficial but not required.
3. License, Registration, and / or Certification Required :
Valid Driver's License
4. Availability
Must have variable availability.

Environmental Factors :
Environmental factors may include indoor and outdoor settings with overhead lighting and outdoor lighting. Significant portions (more than 80%) of daily assignments involve standing, bending, walking, reaching, pushing, pulling and application of manual skills requiring motor coordination in combination with finger dexterity, e.g., cleaning with brushes, rags, vacuum, mop and other machine operations. May occasionally be called upon to work in all areas of the property, both inside and outside, possibly in inclement weather.
