Environmental Conditions

Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cold Room / Freezers -22degreesF / -6degrees C, Loud Noises (Equipment / Machinery), Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift, Warehouse, Will work with hazardous / toxic materials, Working at heights

Location / Division Specific Information :

7302 Governor's Way Frederick, MD

Shift Information : 2nd Shift / Afternoons

Monday - Friday 12 : 30pm - 9 : 00pm

(overtime as needed, report before shift for 9 or 10 hour days as early as 10 : 30am)

Pay / Compensation

19.50 / hr + 10% shift differential = $21.45 / hr

compensation includes annual merit and bonus eligibility + PTO and other employee benefits

How Will You Make an Impact?

This isn't your ordinary job. As a Material Handler, you will help deliver various types of products from life-saving personal protective equipment to everyday lab essentials. You will provide shipping, receiving, storage and order fulfillment services for finished goods, inventory, materials, supplies, parts and equipment.

A Day in the Life :

  • Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and accurately process items for storage and / or shipment in accordance with established procedures and customer requirements
  • Sustain a high level of quality to ensure customers receive accurate product and in the time requested.
  • Receive materials and / or finished goods daily.
  • Verify the quality, type and number of materials received are accurate and appropriate documentation is present (e.g. packing list).
  • Safely operate distribution equipment, as required.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

  • No experience required
  • Preferred : Minimum of 1 year of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field
  • Preferred : Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers, turret trucks, dock stockers, etc.)
  • Must be able to pass a required background check

    The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $13.82$20.84.
