Job description

Position

Experienced Physician Assistant (PA) - Emergency Department Overflow

Open to candidate who has graduated recently and rotated through ED during clinical rotations Location : Tahlequah, OK

Compensation : $125 - $140 / hour Duration : 3 months

Shifts :

  • Shift hours may vary on weekdays and weekends between :

8 : 00 AM to 8 : 00 PM

  • 10 : 00 AM to 10 : 00 PM
  • 11 : 00 AM to 11 : 00 PM
  • 12 : 00 PM to 12 : 00 AM
  • 12 or more shifts per month

    • Qualifications :

  • Experienced Physician Assistant
  • Recent emergency department (ED) experience, with a minimum of ED rotations
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required
  • NIHSS stroke certification required
  • Oklahoma PA Board certification
  • Ability to manage care for adult and pediatric patients in an overflow setting
  • Pediatric experience required
  • Preferred locum experience with Cerner and ED
  • Open to candidates who have recently graduated and rotated through the ED during clinical rotations

    • Responsibilities :

  • Providing care for adult and pediatric patients in an overflow setting
  • Managing patient care effectively and efficiently
  • Completion of medical records
  • Participation in training and staff meetings as needed

    • Additional Requirements :

  • Cerner experience preferred but not required
  • Patient ratios of 1 : 6 or less
  • Number of beds : 17
