Overview
Senior Software Engineer - Embedded Devices at ZOLL Medical Corporation. We are looking for an energetic, ambitious, and innovative embedded developer to work on Windows and embedded platforms. Our software team creates and supports sophisticated embedded device software and communications solutions. This position is an individual contributor on the team, focused on all phases of software development for embedded software.
Responsibilities
- Participate as an active team member in all aspects of the software development life cycle
- Lead design and implementation of GUI and application layers for Windows and embedded environments
- Lead design and implementation of C# and embedded C++ applications
- Develop User Interface applications in Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)
- Collaborate with the cross functional team to deliver high quality products
- Stay current with state-of-the-art technologies, tools, and techniques for software development
- Software design and C# / C++ development at the Application layers
- Create supporting design and unit test documentation
Qualifications
BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical / Computer Engineering, or applicable related disciplineDemonstrated success as technical leader developing embedded software applications5+ years of hands-on software design and development experience3+ years in C# and WPF developing user interface applicationsProficient in object oriented design (OOD)2+ years in C / C++ desiredExperience developing on embedded platforms and with real-time operating systems a plusExperience with Linux and Yocto is a plusExperience with current unit test frameworks is a plusExperience with medical device development is helpful but not requiredCompensation
Compensation for this position is $120K-$130K. Base pay range : $120,000.00 / yr - $130,000.00 / yr
