Material Handler

SUMMARY

A Material Handler works as part of a team to provide materials and support within a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will need to flex easily between tasks and seek to be proficient at all tasks assigned.

SHIFTS : MONDAY - THURSDAY

DAY : 5 am - 3 : 30 pm @ $17.50 / hr

SWING : 3 : 15 pm - 1 : 45 am @ $18.55 / hr

DUTIES :

Delivers material to the point of consumption in response to Kanban signals

Stores and retrieves parts in the warehouse using the first-in, first-out process

Accurately performs inventory transactions and adjustments

Contributes to continuous improvement projects

Keeps work area well organized and clean

Assists with performing cycle counts

Additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS :

6 months of recent experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

Forklift experience preferred

Able to multitask and be flexible in a dynamic work environment while maintaining strong attention to detail

May be required to alternate schedules to meet production goals

Ability to adjust work pace in response to daily production data

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Experience with Lean manufacturing principles is preferred
