Material Planner

Unox , a global market leader in the production of high-end ovens and certified as a Great Place to Work® in the United States is seeking a Material Planner and Production Scheduler . This is an on-site position based at our Denver, North Carolina facility , reporting directly to the Operations Manager. This role ensures seamless coordination between procurement, production, and sales targets—maintaining a steady flow of materials, cost-efficient purchasing, and on-time product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end flow of materials, from production planning to purchasing, internal distribution, and inventory control, ensuring timely availability for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Production and Order Management teams to align production schedules with sales forecasts and customer demand.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure materials meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations, addressing any delays or issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate ERP data on materials, stock levels, and inbound deliveries to support planning, reporting, and operational decisions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean practices (Kanban, JUNJO, Kaizen) to optimize processes and production performance.
• Promote collaboration and accountability across teams, comply with safety, quality, and environmental standards, and prepare cost and performance reports.
