Job Title : General Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of machinery to manufacture sheet metal parts, ensuring quality control, and adhering to safety protocols. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to interpret basic blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate basic machinery to manufacture sheet metal parts according to specifications.
• Inspect parts during and after production to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Interpret and work from basic blueprints to ensure accurate production.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Track and manage materials and supplies needed for production.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities and machinery maintenance.

Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced manufacturing facility equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7 : 30 a.m. to 4 : 00 p.m. Most tasks in the fabrication department are performed independently, though collaboration with others may occasionally be required. Be prepared to stand or sit for 8 hours at a time, performing repetitive tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allentown, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 / hr.
