Responsibilities:

    \n
  • The Maintenance Technician Lead oversees a team of approximately 10-15 maintenance technicians, ensuring the effective operation, repair, and upkeep of equipment, facilities, and systems. This role blends technical expertise with leadership responsibilities to maintain safety, efficiency, and productivity.
    • \n
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and support maintenance staff; delegate tasks and monitor performance.
    • \n
  • Maintenance Operations: Coordinate and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.
    • \n
  • Scheduling & Planning: Organize daily work schedules, prioritize tasks, and respond to urgent repair needs.
    • \n
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
    • \n
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment status.
    • \n
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage tools, parts, and supplies.
    • \n

Qualifications:

    \n
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and/or plumbing systems.
    • \n
  • Leadership and team coordination.
    • \n
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving.
    • \n
  • Time management and task prioritization.
    • \n
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • \n
  • Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
    • \n
  • Basic computer proficiency (e.g., MS Office, maintenance software).
    • \n
  • Technical degree, or equivalent technical certifications, with 5+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • \n
  • Competent in repairs of Injection Molding Machines and automation.
    • \n
  • Knowledge of automation, material handling systems, and auxiliaries such as compressors, chillers, and electrical systems.
    • \n
  • Able to see "Big picture" or entire process of a machine and determine trouble-shooting strategy.
    • \n
  • Pay rate = $46/hour.
    • \n
