Description
SUMMARY The Credentialing Specialist's role is to administratively support management and office staff members of LucidHealth with credentialing which contains a broad scope of duties and responsibilities. The individual will be required to exercise judgment, self-starting and organizational skills, advanced diplomacy, and superior identification and resolution skills.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Serve as support staff to the Dir. Of Quality & Organizational Effectiveness.
2. Assist in the credentialing process for initial and reappointment of physicians.
3. Assist in the coordination of the Credentialing policies and procedures to include TJC Standards and
Federal and State laws.
4. Remain up to date and knowledgeable of TJC Standards, as they relate to Credentialing.
5. Assure that appropriate data is maintained in the computer system.
6. Perform other work-related tasks as requested.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

4. Maintains good attendance record according to LucidHealth policies.
5. Demonstrates knowledge of, and compliance with LucidHealth policies.
6. Knowledgeable of and participation in safety programs, sexual harassment programs, etc. Continued compliance must be demonstrated annually.
7. Attends designated meetings as scheduled.
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor's degree or related experience.
2. Ability to take initiative to continually improve and enhance the administrative support function.
3. Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions.
4. Ability to prepare and maintain record and reports.
5. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, hospital staff and others.
6. Willingness to perform all duties as assigned.
