Med / Surg Tele RN Job Details Location : Auburn, NY 13021 (Finger Lakes region) Healthcare Setting : Community Hospital, 90 beds Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Start Date : November 2, 2025 End Date : January 31, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12-Hour Nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM) Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1930-$2070 Patient Ratio : 1 : 6-7 Charting System : Paragon Open RN Positions : 2 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience Active New York State Registered Nurse license Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification and 6 CEUs in stroke care (required before start) IV insertion and management experience (no IV team on site) Ability to independently interpret telemetry / EKG strips Proctored EKG exam required on Day 1 Willingness to float between Med / Surg and Telemetry units Previous travel nursing experience preferred COVID-19 vaccine not required (proof or declination accepted) Flu vaccine or declination required (mask required if declining) Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in Medical Surgical and Telemetry units Float between units to meet hospital staffing needs Monitor and interpret telemetry / EKG strips independently Initiate and manage IVs for assigned patients Participate in stroke care and maintain required continuing education Document all patient care in the Paragon charting system Work every other weekend as scheduled Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Join our healthcare team in Auburn, NY and take the next step in your travel nursing career.
