Job Description

A day in the life

You start your day with a walkthrough of the shop floor—listening for spindle chatter, scanning coolant levels, and reviewing the preventive maintenance schedule you keep relentlessly on track. A lathe is flagging an alarm; you trace it to a sensor and have it swapped and verified before production misses a beat. By mid-morning, you're aligning a 5-axis mill, tightening up backlash, and logging findings in the CMMS. After lunch, you coordinate a vendor for a compressor service, help riggers position a new machine, run airlines and network cabling, and finish your shift with a root-cause review of a recurring drive fault so it doesn’t come back.

About Hirsh Precision

Since 1979, Hirsh Precision has grown on the Front Range by pairing world-class people with cutting-edge machining technology. We build for medical, aerospace, industrial, and scientific customers, and we do it with a culture centered on integrity, service, quality, and excellence. We continually invest in new manufacturing systems and software to push productivity and innovation—because the work we do improves lives.

Our vision and values
